We made it to our first Brookfield Farmer's Market & More date of the summer! It was drizzling and muggy for a few hours in
the early morning, but it didn't seem to stop the flow of people coming to the market. Chelsea was able to get her mother-in-law to watch the kiddos, so it was her first
Another win for the hand-knits in this crazy spring weather though!
Once the booth was set up we chatted with our neighbors over at SizzleBerry Soaps. The ladies at SizzleBerry Soaps make all natural goat's milk and essential oils, so we had oodles of customers sniffing their way down the aisles to find them. Of course I couldn't resist and bought some Coffee Vanilla soap, and it is awesome. Laura and Amy were really fun to spend time with, and it's their first season at the Brookfield Farmer's Market too, so we had a grand time figuring out things as we went.
We'll be at the Brookfield Farmer's Market & More only on the 3rd Saturday of each month, so don't hesitate to stop by! It was exciting to meet all the different knitters and crocheters, and quite a few put entries in for the Lake Country gradient yarn giveaway. Don't forget there are lots of ways to enter, and the drawing is May 20th.
