We kicked off the market season at the Delafield Farmer's Market on Saturday. The weather was beautiful and it was fun getting a chance to meet so many new people!
The only issue we had was fitting all of the squishy yarn goodness into my old van. It'd be nice to get gridwalls at some point, but for now we're working with foldable tables and lots o'baskets.
It can be difficult selling yarn online. I don't know about you guys, but I LOVE touching and seeing the yarns that I buy in person at least once. Colors and textures don' always translate accurately on a computer screen. I even like to smell my yarns before I buy them....don't judge me! ;) That's just not possible with an online store, so all we can do is try to get the photos as top-notch as we can!
That being said, if you ARE in the area we'd love to have you stop by! We'll be at the Farmer's Markets in Brookfield the 3rd Saturday each month, and at Delafield for most of the other Saturdays. (We gotta make it to Grandma's 90th in the last week in June!)
We'll most likely be knitting, chatting, or causing hijinks. Stop on by!
